Homework will always be sent home on Fridays and due on
Thursdays. If it is not turned in on Thursdays, then they will not qualify for Fun Fridays. The only exceptions will be for students that have been absent, then they can turn it in on Friday mornings.

Math Homework:
Students will get Math homework daily. It will be between 5 to 10 problems each day. Even though it is assigned each day, they won't need it done until Thursday of the next week.

Students are required to read at least 80 minutes a week. Of course they can read more than 80 minutes for the week. Please remember to record it on the Homework Passport and get it signed by an adult in the house.

Students will get a topic each week. They are to respond appropriately to the statement. I am expecting 3 paragraphs. Please make sure the writing has a lot of details. Details are what is usually lacking in students writing.
Other:
There might be other homework sent home also. The one thing I will do is send stuff home if they students don't finish it in class. It will only be for those whom chose not to work on it during class. Most of the time, all students will finish their work.
